One of the most rewarding parts of succession work for Amanda Sullivan is seeing the relief that clients feel once they’ve made it through the process.
Amanda understands the stresses that come with losing someone and the complications that can arise while you’re still grieving.
Even when she was very young, her father’s clients would stop them in public to thank him for his guidance through successions and other legal issues.
They would always tell Amanda how much her father had helped them and that she was lucky to have him.
She remembers being inspired by his commitment to each client and his determination to carry their load with them, and decided that she wanted to be able to help people the same way he did.
After graduating Cum Laude from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2010, Amanda kicked off her career as an Assistant District Attorney for the 1st Judicial Court in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Now, she works to help her clients through difficult times, to relieve some of the burdens of the potentially tricky process of successions.
Her secret to success: Amanda is a runner -- literally and figuratively.
She’s been running cross country since she was in school, and she had her 4 children in less than 5 years. She even graduated law school while 7 months pregnant with twins!
For her practice, too, she spends the time and the energy working hour after hour to review every important document and detail until all her clients’ worries have been soothed.
And it’s precisely this energy that helps motivate Amanda to power through each succession case to the prize at the end: her clients’ sense of relief as their process comes to a close.
